I think that these Are relevant.
Because you guys are implying that LJ is a 10 on the misogyny scale (figuratively speaking).
So what sort of standard or criteria are you using?

1.First of all:
- even if his flaming rhetoric might qualify him for a 10(as you guys see it)
- are his actual behaviors towards female posters misogynistic? Nope - he scores very low on that, since he's very considerate towards them, in general.
So objectively speaking, does his score qualify him for being "the worst misigynist eva"? No,

2.What's the standard against which you are measuring all these things? Some ideal white knight gentleman that doesn't really exist?
- Nope - you should compare his 1.rhetoric and 2.behaviors towards female posters with those of his fellow GB posters. And I can guarantee you that quite a few of his fellow posters fall short on no.2, even if they talk the right talk on no. 1.

So I think that it's one thing to complain about someone's rhetoric, but it's a different ballgame to jump from that and generalize/demonize the person.

You're right, actually. Moreover, this being a site with free speech, what You are doing (telling LJ how you view him or his actions) is appropriate. And I never saw you comment on his personal life either.
I just feel that other posters are pushing it much farther than that.
