No I am not going to post about my sexual exploits... let's share what we see around us. Mother nature, the wild animals that are indigenous to our areas? I snap every photo I can at every opportunity....sorry Fata, there may be some spiders in here!

I was at a job site when I saw these two little critters scrambling around in a tree...

More to come.

Um, sadly the wild life for me recently involves a child who is refusing to wear clothing (because it's fucking hot here) and a cat who inhaled way too much catnap.

I shall enjoy your exploits (sexual or nonsexual) instead.

I always thought clothes were optional. In Wisconsin you don't have to pay tax on groceries because they are a necessity. You do have to pay tax on clothing. See? They are not a necessity. The small one has figured that out already. Very smart like mama!

Today's exploits found myself and my good friend ODave hiking in Southern Wisconsin. First we explored the Paradise Springs, which was really fun. A beautiful place if you take your time and really look at what is there. So much wildlife!

We then went to a trail head, the name of which I have forgotten. All in all I would say we hiked about five miles. We ended our adventure at a brewpub where we tasted many new drinks! Blackberry margaritas, and oatmeal cookie martinis were high up on the list. I will post some pix of the excursion as soon as they are uploaded to photobucket.

***FATA WARNING***

I took pix of bugs and spiders.

I need to come visit you since Wisconsin isn't that far - I'll bring the ex and he and the kid can hang out at a waterpark. You and I can find other amusements...wildlife and all.

DO IT!! I am 45 minutes from the largest conglomeration of waterparks in the history of the world... We can go out on the party barge ( my bosses boat) hang out at gilligans island, play a multitude of drinking games with the very friendly locals... and if we are really lucky the pirates will be out with their floating bonfire and the party does not have to stop just cuz the sun went down...

Yeah, this needs to happen - and I think pirates like Johnny Depp (but less effeminate).

But... delicious bugs and spiders is my guess. Jezzi seems to photograph everything.
Delafield Brewpub. The drinks are delicious and I might be there still (as long as my wonderful companion was there as well) except I had to drive half way across the state.
The blackberry margaritas were the best, but they ran out. And the company was exceptional!

The captain is *RawR* He has a floating couch...I am sure if it could talk the stories it would tell would be nothing less than epic. We watched the first Packer game of the season out there last year.

You made it home alive!! So did I . I went shopping for tadpole food. Did you know they do not actually eat but absorb food from the water? That's what I was told anyway. Fish flakes and some other crap I bought for them. They all made it back alive.

They really do look like sperm cells.

Not to blow the fantasy but I'm thinkin it's trailer park/campground guys with a pontoon that still floats and enough beer to think a bonfire boat is a good idea.

You, Sir, are highly mistaken. This is a classy place Gilligans Island!

Cute sperm cells, though! They'll have little faces someday. Remember I want a frog! What in the world do tadpoles absorb?

OMG - I am wearing that same yellow jumpsuit and red belt right now. How embarrassing!

Should I be flattered you are concerned for my well-being??? Or are you more worried about the pirates.....

Still all about the beer right now though.

Im not hitting in you or the pirates. Im just pro boating safety.

It's one of the greatest things that I've found since moving to New England (from Phoenix). With just over 1.5 acres and lots of wooded area, we have had lots of deer (with babies), wild turkeys, raccoons, opossum, marmot, eagles, rabbits, coy wolf and a few others. It's hysterical finding a turkey on your deck, begging for food! I used to compost and save certain trimmings from vegetables for the critters. We had mirrored bird feeders to watch them preen in the mirror. Was neat to video record.

Our raccoons only came out at night though! Was hard getting my husband to not go out and pick one up! They may look cute and cuddly....but he wouldn't think so if he tried to touch one!

We're thinking of finding a cabin a little further north...then we can have moose and black bears!

I think moving back to Phoenix would be difficult now!

That sounds awesome... feel free to post pix of the critters!

Oh, I NEVER assumed you would hit on me - I was just almost touched you were being somewhat, um, nice! Now I know though...

I AM nice...lol

I stopped my work truck and shooed a frog across the street who was lollygagging and would have gotten run over the other day.

Thats nice.

Pro-boating and nice to frogs. You DO know if you kiss them they don't turn into princes (or princesses)? ;)

Not that I've tried it or anything.....
