In the back of an old bookstore, there sits a young man of all of twenty two years, who looks more like the type of man who would be installing your computer rather then reading your fortune. He sits there calmly, adjusting his black wire frame glasses as you walk in. He smiles and says to you...

Back again I see. I must have done something right the first time. I am willing to read you your cards again or I can answer for you specific questions using the Yi Ching. It is your choice.

If you want a card reading, please give me three numbers between one and seventy eight.

If you want a full card reading, which takes more time but is more detailed, give me one number. Please, be patient with these - I will get to them.

If you want me to use the Yi Ching, please give me a number between one and eight and ask your question.

Hello there, Black Bird!

Is YI Ching anything like IChing?
If so, what book do you use? :)

Our tarot reader is back.
Very acurate with me in your last reading.

I'm going for more details this time. #7

Thank you Black Bird.

You are currently facing a task which takes a great deal of courage and perseverance. Don't fear this: what was once only a dream will become living for you and what was once theory will be proven through this. In other words, you will live and learn.

Yi Ching and IChing are the same thing - simply a difference in how you choose to bring it into English.

I am actually using David Hulse's "The Key of It All: Book One" as a guide. I never really was interested in the Yi Ching until I picked up that book. I know, I know - it's always better to find and read the source material... I will eventually.

Thanks for letting me know! :)
I've had some experience with IChing, but I don't claim to have extensive knowledge of stichomancy. That's why I inquired. Enjoy!

Knight of Disks
Knight of Cups
Two of Cups: Love
Queen of Swords
I: The Magus
Queen of Disks
XVII: The Star
Four of Wands: Completion
Ace of Wands
XV: The Devil
Eight of Swords: Interferance
Six of Disks: Success
V: The Hierophant

You are concidering breaking up with the man you are currently seeing? You could do that... and you feel you should because you had hoped that it would have developed into more by now, but there is also those nagging memories of your past mistakes - the ones you should have given more time to. What is a girl to do? ;)

Well, I can tell you this: If you give this guy the brush off, the next man you meet will want to make this a long term relationship... However, if you should choose to wait and give this guy the benifit of the doubt, he will teach you something about yourself. Sounds like a win win situation? Well, it isn't. In the past, things have been a little less complicated then they will be in the future - that which had been easy or had been successful then will not be now. Choose your poison.

Thank you Black Bird. I am absolutely blown away again. I will elaborate more of my response in a PM to you.

kotori:

V: The Hierophant
Nine of Wands: Strength
Five of Swords: Defeat

Patience and resolve isn't enough to solve this problem... I can tell you now that people are waiting in the wings to stab you in the back. I doubt diplomacy will help much either; these are cowardly games these people play.

MissVictoria:

Queen of Disks
Ten of Swords: Ruin
XII: The Hanged Man

Something home/family-oriented is about to fly apart... you are the only one keeping it together. If you find that it is important enough, you will have to sacrifice a great deal of yourself to make sure things run smoothly... even then, there are no promises.

If you want a card reading, please give me three numbers between one and seventy eight.

I'm in too please, I hope for good news...

Tease *you*? Never crossed my mind... ;)

Four of Cups: Luxury
Four of Swords: Truce
Ace of Wands
Princess of Wands
V: The Hierophant
X: Fortune
Seven of Cups: Debauch
VIII: Adjustment
Five of Swords: Defeat
I: The Magus
Three of Wands: Virtue
Ace of Disks
Ace of Cups

You feel that you are being held back and kept from finding your freedom because of family. They have been holding dominance over your life for quite some time - even when you had tried to break free from their hold before. Are you going to try again? Are you going to give in to their emotional blackmail? You do have a choice...

Yes, you have tried to break free before, only to find that there were results you did not anticipate. You have your chance to change things *now*, but do you leap at the offer? Past experiences says "No." But really, what does the past know? This new attempt - this new chance *will* result in a change for the better. Not only that, but I foresee that this time will not be as the last - they will accept your decision. On the other hand, if you do not push for this, it will pass you by. There is a lot for you to learn in the future - are you seeking to go to college? Is that what this family quarrel is about?

DéjàNu:

VII: The Chariot
II: The Priestess
Nine of Disks: Gain

I have this sneeking suspicion that this is about a romantic relationship... eh? The cards actually don't say this - but I think it is a possibility.

It talks about success - and an unveiling. It also speaks of possible emotional growth... which is why I think "relationship".
