Most on the right oppose abortion because we think everyone is entitled to substantial due process before they get executed.
It is a scant minority who oppose birth control that is not an abortifacient: condoms, pills, sterilization are all a-okay with most on the right. Anything that causes an abortion? Not so much.
As to premarital sex the opposition is social due to the deleterious effects of premarital sex especially upon young women who are often not emotionally detached enough to deal with the lack of commitment and callous disregard that too many young men exhibit with so-called 'casual sex'.
For normal young women sex is a deeply intimate experience and it is not something that they just casually do, like brushing their teeth or getting a haircut. Yet society tells them that it's just fine to call it 'just sex' and these young women are often belittled by their peers for feeling that sex is much more.
The issue to me as a conservative is commitment. If a young couple is committed then this will be the best for the young woman in the long run.
Not saying they have to get married, just that it's best that intimacy be part of a committed relationship.
