And if you don't, oh well!

Someone had warned me that this would happen, but now I actually get to see it.

Whenever I'm holding one of the things and we pass a mirror, if I point at the mirror and ask "Who's that?", their first answer is always "Daddy".

Smart kid.

But if I inquire about who the other person in the mirror is, they ALWAYS tell me it's the other Thing.

Which is logical since that IS what the other one looks like. They say that other children thi sage will often say "Baby", not understanding that it's actually their reflection, but in the cas of twins they know someone else that looks like "that".

Maybe that would make more sense if I read it in a mirror !

I am drunk !

i think i read somewhere that humans and either chimps or gorillas or maybe both were the only animals that actually recognized themselves in mirrors...of course i can remember a few mornings when i wasn't real sure myself...

An Irish proverb which seems apt, Dad O'Things:

A friend's eye is a good mirror.

Sometimes said instead as:
The best mirror is a friend's eye.

I was in the house of mirrors once when I was 5, some scary looking kid kept following me :(

The way that kid looked, he probably in some mental hospital ... he looked crazy

I have twin brothers and according to my mom they used to do that. They also used to assume that whenever the other needed or wanted something that they did too. It's weird, as kids they were clones, as adults, VERY different people.

That could be because identical twins are mirror images of each other. The way he sees himself in the mirror is the way he sees his twin.
