The rain is back. We had a few days of very humid hot weather, but those were the days I was working outside on the wall of my house, so there was not only no relief, but I was thrust into the heat, lifting and carrying, climbing... anyway. Glad it's over.

Well it was 89° here this afternoon. Too bad it was around 90% humidity and no wind. Even so I was doing pretty good watching my laptop try to melt from the heat. (Both internal from the scene I was working on and the heat outside.) The lizards were walking through the grass and the cats were just laying there watching them. I was doing pretty good right up until my wife decided to walk out and join me while wearing her new thong bikini. (I didn't see the thermometer but I'm sure the temp. went up at least ten degrees.) Now though I'm sitting inside with the window fans going and the central A/C shut down. I'll turn it back on later when I head to bed.

They work, but I think it's a percentage game. Car interiors can get to an unthinkable temperature when it's 100+ degrees outside (50 degrees hotter than outside within an hour would be the last statistic that I've read, but I have no fucking clue how true that is. I just know they get deadly hot. ) so every little bit of shade helps as does cracking all the windows. People will park at the far end of an empty parking lot if the space there has the least little bit of shade on it.

Cloudy, I recall the black vinyl car seats of my youth and the screams when the towell covering them would move. Why on earth do you have leather seats, woman?!?

Ahhh come on Cloudy. Don't you just love it when your ass is sweating so much it tries to slide on those seats whenever you make a turn but it can't because your thighs are glued to the leather? (Ouch BTDT then got seat covers.)
