Yay Team 2025 - The Sex & Sports Author Organized Challenge Support Thread

I just submitted both of my stories. “Records” did not end the way I had envisioned from the beginning of the series; it was too complicated to write that ending
I’m fairly happy with “Dance Competition” because I wrote it in basically one day.
Best of luck, everyone!

Mine is in pending...

As is mine, counter to the trend that my recent stories have been approved in much shorter time frames. In previous events, at least my stories have been marked as "NEW" but with a publication date the first day of the window.

I have the edu-guess that Laurel is doing it differently this time, gathering all these event stories into a pile and is going to process tomorrow to be released on Tuesday.

Mine just changed to being Published tomorrow (the 2nd), usually 7am BST, presumably midnight Mountain time or wherever Lit's servers are.

You made me check. Same here.

EDIT: Crap. She changed the sequel-ish title from a "II" to "02". No, this wasn't intended to be a second chapter of last year's story, it's in line with a whole bunch of chapters in between. Phooey.

Mine looks like it has a 6/2 date also. It's in my "Pending" list, but has that date and a grey button that says "Published" next to an orange one that says "New."

Is that what I should expect to be seeing?

Same here, in Pending to be published 6/2. Does that mean it's nixed from the challenge?

Take this with an enormous grain of salt, since I'm new to this, too.

But my guess is we probably didn't all get disqualified at once without the admins reaching out to at least one of us, if not posting here. What I'd expect is that the date is 6/2 at or one second before midnight, so basically 6/3 which is when the challenge window starts.

I got marked for 6/2 as well.

I've received no communication from Laurel on the early date, but I imagine she might be arbitrarily extending the window because it's kinda short to begin with. And because this isn't a contest, the timing isn't of much consequence.

Glad the review of everyone's stories presumably went smoothly. Looking forward to see the variety of sports we end up with.

That's too bad. Hopefully it won't confuse your readers. Sounds like a story edit might be in your future.

My story is now published! Assuming the official list will be posted soon :)

A big thanks to @Voyeurkenneth and congrats to everyone who’s submitted!

The list won’t be published until the end of the submission period, but if you want to see the other submissions as they come in search for the tag “yay team 2025”.
Although only the original post is showing up right now…

...search for the tag “yay team 2025”.

Still doesn't work. I would not be surprised if the tag search database isn't populated until the end of the day of publication. The one sports story I found early this morning - other than mine - in poking around the "new" list had an obvious title and subtitle.

Just submitted my other story, 24k words! Definitely the longest I've ever written. And whew, this one was a doozy to produce, but I'm pretty happy with the end result. Cheers once again :)

Oh yes and thank you so much to @Kumquatqueen for beta reading!

I've got a longish e-sports story written for this challenge, so if I can edit it fast enough I will try and sneak it across the line in time...

Mine got published, a bit to my surprise since I thought June 10 was the go-date.
