Don't read my story if...

Please, read my stories if you're easily offended!

I like that attitude. Not that I'm into trolling readers or intentionally pissing anyone off, but I commend the bravery of it that is so scarce in these parts. No pandering here, not worried about the score.

If every story has to have a HEA, don't bother to read some of my work. If it's posted or published as a romance, yes, you can expect an HEA. That's a general hallmark of the genre and one of the things IMHO, that separates Erotic Romance from Erotica. But my stories don't ALWAYS end happy. and it is, as StillStunned pointed out, a feature, not a bug.

Edited to fix HFA to HEA. Not sure if it was my fingers or my head. I could have been thinking Happily Forever After, for some reason. Chemo brain is real, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

HFA?

Don't read my stories if:

1. You don't enjoy going back into the past
2. You don't want to go on a holiday to Australia.
3. You don't like comedic stories.
4. You value political correctness.
5. You can't handle unlikable characters.
6. You don't like Incest Taboo stories that venture out of the usual pairings and tropes.

Don't read my stories if coherent plots and well-developed characters are more important to you than detailed descriptions of various outlandish scenarios, if you are claustrophobic, or if the, occasional, misplaced comma, annoys you.

I'm starting to feel that ITT people are slowly shifting into self-roasting. Is everything alright?

Alternative title: Screw you, it's a feature, not a bug.

Enough about what we don't like about other people's writing. This is a thread to admit that some readers will hate our stories, but we don't care.

I'll go first.

Don't read Red Hot if you want plot or character development. There's no plot, just two people who meet and end up having sex. There's no character development, or motivation: a hot redhead, and a narrator who's a blank canvas for the reader to project onto. And if you don't like it, well, screw you. It's a feature, not a bug.

I thought there was character development! I liked it. Ex boy band guy finally gets to bang a groupie? It was fun.

Also, don't read my stories if you are unwilling to accept that at some point, the sex will be overshadowed by a Tom Clancy-esque plot with bullets flying, spy stuff and lots of me explaining minute details that if you actually google them will be 100% real but only I notice.

Another of mine.

Don't read Love at First Sight if you want something sexy, or happy, or comfortable. Don't read it if you have anxiety about peepers or stalkers. Also, don't read it if you don't like my writing style, but I suppose that goes without saying.
