Did you really believe when you took your vows that the person you were saying them to was your life's partner?

If you are divorced how long did it take you to come to the realization that the marriage was over?

How long were you engaged before marrying?

Tell me.
jl:kiss:

I have not been married yet.

Though I can say, that when I do marry...I plan it to be forever.

You're mailman will be bringing you something from Ohio soon.:)

n/a

Engaged for about 9 months, married and 3 days after I went to a club, met this gorgeous brunette, danced the night away and ended up fucking her in a carpark lift, on the bonnet of her car and then out the front of my place in my wife's car.

Divorce took some time, but I got their in the end.

Recently split up with my new girlfriend. 2 days after Christmas I walked out. New Year's Day I told her I fucked someone else and that she was the most boring sex I ever had.

Marriage is a foreign word to me. Too many women in this world to fuck, rather than getting stuck with the same cunt for the rest of your life.

:)

that's an attitude ?

When I do marry, I have every intention that it will be forever. It's seems far too easy for me to fall in love, but in my whole life there has only been one person that I know I'd marry without a doubt.

A life sentence?

Did you really believe when you took your vows that the person you were saying them to was your life's partner?

Each time X 2

If you are divorced how long did it take you to come to the realization that the marriage was over?

When she said there was somebody else, that my job took me away from home too much. There was no turning back.

How long were you engaged before marrying?

2 year each X 2

I didn't think about it as much as I should have...at that age I don't think that I really knew the kind of commitment that I was getting myself into.

I'm not divorced yet but I have filed twice and then changed my mind. It may happen yet!

How long were you engaged before marrying?

Almost 3 years....I was 17 at the time we got engaged.

I do think that Marriage should last forever.
The key is to get married to someone you KNOW is your mate and not who you THINK or hope it is.

I have known the mrs 17 years and we have been married 13 of those...i doesnt seem like it though. we have had a few rough spots, but have worked thru them. we are looking forward to another 17 and 17 after that:heart:

Would you marry again?

I met her at school when we were 16 and I felt in love though I've never told her. You know, one of these HS things that just happen. Been good friends and part of the same "clique" for years but we lost contact after I graduated and we both took different directions in life.

Years later we met accidentially and started to talk about the good old days... and all of a sudden there was this old feeling. This time it was mutual.

Engaged 2 years before we got married. We decided to split at our 7th anniversary...

And yes, marriage should last forever though sometimes it just doesn't work out that way.
I truly believed it, when I said "for worse and for better, for eternity"... and I still love her for what she was. A gift.

When you find out what that "key" is...patented it. It's worth a fortune.

You two are such an inspiration.

Truly blessed.:rose:

I am gonna have to remember to pull up this thread somehow in 5 years, ten years...and give a really good answer.

You have an unique perspective. I have a hunch it's another reason I adore you.
