My wife’s late husband, was devastated by that one Seinfeld episode, were Elaine faked an orgasm.

My wife said that it was inconceivable to him that that could happen. My wife didn’t fake anything, she’s very orgasmic, but for whatever reason, this really impacted him.

He was very Catholic and very hung up on all things sexual, although from what my wife describes, they had an ok sex life. Let's be realistic here-the reason that so many women fake orgasms is to protect feelings/fragile egos, or to put a quicker end to an encounter that isn't that great. Or it could just be to make a session that's running a bit long to be shorter. I don't cum every time I have sex, but I can tell my partner "it's not gonna happen for me." Doesn't mean it feels bad, I just know my body well enough to know when I am not going to cum. I don't have my feelings hurt if the same thing is told to me. I'm not going to fool myself and assume that no one has ever faked an orgasm with me, but I'd rather someone be honest about it. Hell, if I can do something better to get you there, let me know!

I've been thinking about this way too much and I'd like to clarify:

I usually always enjoy sex. I just don't always have an orgasm for whatever reason. When I'm not in a good head space, I enjoy seeing my husband get off on me. His pleasure is a pleasure to participate in if that makes any sense.

She wasn't faking, but learning that some women sometimes fake it ruined it for her husband. Why?
