Question about the age thing..

I know the characters that engage in sexual acts have to be 18.. but what if they're not doing a sex act? Like, a story about a girl that loves to flash guys and show off her body in public and that kind of stuff, could she be under 18? I don't see any reason why she couldn't, but I wanted to make sure.

I am not a prude - I know kids under 18 have sex and don't magically become sexual creatures the day they turn 18, but for the sake of Literotica (as far as avoiding legal hassles), it would just be best to avoid the use of any characters under 18 in a sexual act, even if it is just flashing.

i agree with shy. kids under 18 are still exposed to sex everday. somehow placing an age disclaimer on your web site...such as this one...will not magically ward off those under 18.

As it is in most of the US (it varies by state) - but the issue is one of portraying children under age 18 in sexual acts in prose or photos is not legal. Kind of like the fact that in many states in the US it is legal for people 18 or older to join the military, kill others or be killed, but they can't drink.

I agree with both sets of laws, but at the same time I recognize the contradictions. Personally, I would prefer that people not be able to join the military until they are 21, but since kids leave school at 18, and otherwise are considered emancipated adults at that age (they can marry and hold jobs, etc.), there would be a contradiction there too. I am not sure what the answer is.

ToddH, I'm almost nice to everyone that's not an idiot. Julia69 got busted by Celestial Body (do a search for the thread) about 5 or 6 days ago for posting someone elses story. There's not much lower than plagiarism around here except posting personal info (name, telephone, and other stuff that ID's you) without permission.

The age question has been asked in one form or another every 4 days in one forum or another (Check Story Ideas).

Now do you really believe that those dated professional pix are really Julia69 or are you just enjoying the fantasy?
