Pondering Thread

Today, I sit with fear. Not "in" fear, but "with" it. I ponder its power over love. I examine the relationships in my life and question the value of those in which fear limits the expression of love. I see it in friends. I see it in lovers. I do believe I'm finished investing myself in any form of intimacy until fear is no longer a motivating factor.

That sounds like it belongs in the leagues of mind-fuck-complicated, Imp :(

Have a hug

You can have a couple of tokes of my spliff as well if you think it'll help

Actually, it's breathtakingly simple -- and very empowering -- and I'm worth it.

Choices.

I'm pondering choices. Aurora used to have a kick-as quote in her sig about choices. Wish I could find it.

I hope that's the one.

My song of my life....I love that song.

~I wonder if the hubby is right and people cant see in the windows from the outside in the day when they lights are off in the house. I'm very tempted to moon someone just to see if someone gets pissed off or not.

I think they add peanut butter to the oil.

Ewwwww. *shudder*

Another one:

Why does the Geiko gecko speak with a British accent? Whose marketing genius was that?

Peanut butter is naturally oily darling....

Did the first Gecko have a brit accent? I can't remember....

What do you say to a friend who is adamant that they have nothing when they have you? How do you convince them that they have at least one friend when they're determined not to believe you? :(

Read the label of Jiffy peanut butter. They actually add oil. No lie. Then compare it to a natural brand, like Adams. No added oil.

I don't remember about the first gecko... maybe this Brit one is a distant cousin?

Why does cough syrup make you feel more sick?

Honestly, I'd rather just cough.

Pondering how you can understand so much about someone, see inside them so easily, yet totally miss something so important that they have practically come right out and told you.

Today I am pondering desire as it relates to trust ... and the effect the latter has on the former.

A lot and none depending on the mood.

What about depending on the relationship (i.e., casual, serious)?
oh those make it much more complicated at least for me. *scratches head* Most casual relationships maybe trust doesn't play on the desire past being safe while your with them. On the other hand if you completely trust someone in a casual relationship you might be more comfortable in feeling desire for them or being flirty when your in safe hands.

Trust in a serious relationship is paramount for desire. One playing off the other. If the trust is gone sometimes so is the inclination and some trust would have to be regained to find the full desire.

Of course I have just confused myself with it.

You made perfect sense to me. :rose: And, I believe I agree with you.

I can’t stop listening to John Mayer, ‘Gravity’. I’m considering that a major problem at this point. Since, it’s now 7am.

Shouldn’t I be listening to Radiohead instead? Since I’ve been up all night?

He actually plays quite a delicate and smart guitar. He’s very excellent.

I want to make love to this song. Real slow. On perpetual.

I wonder if I’m going to be different tomorrow…

Today while standing in the shower I pondered whether or not one truly becomes clean while showering in a dirty shower.

I love that AV, man. That's beautiful.

I thought you were going to say something incredible. You didn't. But still... I really like that AV. One of the best I've ever seen.

THAT... is romance.
