On your first meeting with someone you find out ...

In the lovely state of MA an employee (male) was put into the hospital by a women, and they arrested him for DV because women never harm men (despite being fully able to do anything a man can do).

OTOH I was brought up you NEVER hit a woman. Just not done. Not enough bad things can happen to men who do.
and that is why women get away with it.
Personally I'm all for equality - if a woman hits me - the bitch is getting it back. I wont EVER instigate violence against a woman, but i am not a punchbag for women either.

I saw a thing on youtube recently - an indian guy arguing with a woman, and she hits him repeatedly while others look on. Then eventually he gets tired of being slapped and retaliates. next thing you know he is being attacked by several other men. The same men that were watching him getting the shit kicked out of him by the bitch he just slapped.
It's no wonder that some women think that they can get away with DV against their spouses when that is the prevailing attitude.

I don't want to have anything to do with a cop. Especially in North America.
As a matter of fact, I used to take boxing lessons from an amazing ex boxer and a great person who chose to become a cop. We remained friends and I watched her slowly being devoured by the cult that is the policing institute. I bid her farewell once she started going on about the Thin Blue Line.

ACAB, and that includes the "good" ones.

Exponentially is a large word - in fact the latest figures show that the amount of DV perpetrated on men by women is climbing, if the trend continues it will not be long before it evens out. The figures are also skewed because 1 men dont report incidnces of domestic violence and 2 when they do - nobody believes them.

Well fuck. I can’t enjoy men or women. 🤨 Now I’m gonna be relegated to masturbating. I know I won’t beat me up.

I truly do not understand this conversation.

Deal breakers for me are things like addiction, dishonesty, arrogance, laziness, rudeness, coldness… Calling women bitches…

I want warmth and comfort. I want a self assured man. I want a hardworking man that will meet me in the trenches and dig ditches shoulder to shoulder with me till the work is done >>> Who won’t complain, who doesn’t argue about whose turn it is to dig, and who is maybe even grateful for the work?

Because that’s what this whole partnership thing is about: rolling up sleeves and Life-ing, together.

I’m not about to rule out dates, life partners, or any other acquaintances based on gender or occupation.

I’ll rule them out because they’re an asshole, though!

She’s a police officer who was intimate with several male officers in her unit. Most or all were married. They were doing the deed while they were on the clock and they’ve faced consequences from the department. By the general public, she’s being villified as a slut and the subject of many memes while the guys aren’t, of course.

I'm so shocked by that.

If some not-particularly-good-looking male cop got caught banging seven female cop coworkers, I bet he'd be the subject of memes, too. (In this case, I've seen plenty of memes involving the guys.)

I didn't expect this thread to be so entertaining when I clicked on it. Love it.

I've known a lot of cops over the years. Some family and friends. Teammates in an adult baseball league. Friends of friends. I worked IT in a police department for a while. The ones that I know real well are all good people. Kind-hearted with a tendency towards being protective and helpful towards others. They possess that "have your back" mentality.

To answer the question...It tends to increase my interest a bit in social settings. If it's a romantic situation we're talking about, she needs to be as good with wearing the handcuffs as she is putting them on someone else. ;)

TLDR?

The current mod of my beloved ā€œlet yer freak flag flyā€ sex forum, which we call the playground, hates men so much she:

1. wishes she were a lesbian
2. she even tried it once!, but, alas
3. it didn’t ā€˜stick,’ as sexual orientation is innate and present at birth and
4. she has research to back it up which

She went on to find the only man on earth who isn’t a hateful wifebeater, and, thankfully, he’s not a cop.

The End.

It’s the most immoderate moderation I’ve ever seen.

Of course - men are studs women are sluts.
Its back to equality for me. If women want to go out and sleep with lots of guys, count me in (if i'm one of the guys} as long as she and they are happy then fair play to them.

If the women are sleeping with married men, then they are wrong. But then so are the men.

She’s super cool.

Right? Every meme I see of her has a pic of the five guys around her.

You’re dead to me.

They don't call it beating your meat for nothing !!!

I will gently respect my meat and treat it like an equal.

If you don’t feel safe, you don’t feel safe. You don’t have to explain and it doesn’t have to be logical. Prejudice be damned. I recognize that as a white male of imposing physical size I don’t know what it’s like to fear a partner physically. I don’t begrudge anyone who does.

Personally, the scenario I fear is a woman who mentions on the first date her vision board or her passion for upscaling vintage finds because I know my lazy ass is going to end up at a yoga class and then antiquing the first Saturday she sleeps over.

What if the vision board is full of tits and guitars? AFAF

This is possibly the first time a female has white knighted a male on the PG.

It’s definitely the first time a female has white knighted EVERY male on the PG.

Lol! šŸ˜‚

Thankfully my guy isn’t the only good one. I’ve dated a few others and know many more. Men as a whole, though? No thanks.

Would you consider that a ā€œmoderateā€ viewpoint?
