The "pandemic" of '57-'58 killed 116,000 US citizens. Today that would have to translate into 260,000 based on population growth and factoring in the illegal cockroach population. The quick answer is "Yes", this is going to spread regardless of panic measures.

OK, we "flattened the Curve." Now what? The health care system wasn't overwhelmed. Very few have died that weren't already at risk. Meanwhile, millions are having their lives and livelihoods destroyed by the acts of petty tyrants.

I predict that this is going to backfire on those little Hitler wannabe's. The citizens are going to be sad that grandma died of the flu, but they're going to be pissed off that they are out of work and potentially losing their homes etc.

Trump has already said that he's not going to be bailing the states out for economic decisions that THEY made. Help the people, yes. But not the states.
