I'm okay with waiting it out until local/regional outbreaks peak in order to limit the death count.

Going back to some sort of work AND respecting social distancing measures, masks included.And in higher-risk businesses, obligatory books about who did what for contact tracing. And other measures like no larger congregations and so on.

But there are too many American newspapers and rogue politicians who are setting people up for a disaster (much more deaths and civil unrest)
by not accepting the minimum of compromise - in the name of freedom.
