murder site apartment juju

Compared to the usual option of an indie band having lived there, ironic-beard hair embedded in the carpets and flooring, the tine-y trill of the Wurlitzer 200A still vibrating in the walls, cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon stalking the recycling bin, the lint of uber-cute t-shirts haunting the dryer, broken ukelele strings still screaming from the anguish of their unproud end, I'd say it's say a good old-fashioned crime of passion is a selling point.

Paedo.

One of my closest childhood friends lived right next door to Robert Yates. It was weird knowing later that I was right next door to a yard that had someone's trophies buried underneath the ground.

Denis Nilsen's flat Muswell Hill is up for sale http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/would-you-live-in-a-house-of-horrors-muswell-hill-flat-where-serial-killing-necrophiliac-dennis-nilsen-butchered-victims-goes-up-for-sale-8763510.html

o_O

PS. Fata, you sound just like my cousin from Sutton Coldfield....
*whispers* M. is that you?

Crikey! I would have thought that one would be long gone. Thinking about some of the others, Hindley's house definitely was, and the Wests, I'm sure after the Philpott trial they said the council were knocking that one down. We had a murder in one of our stock, machete job, that was demolished.

I'd shit myself spending a night in any one of those properties.

No, I'm definitely me!

No offense meant Candi but you can't speak for all suicidal people. Just like when you meet a child with autism you've met one child with autism. If you meet one person suffering from depression you've met one person.

I've volunteered for years with a number of psychiatric hospitals/institutions. I myself suffer from suicidal depression- like 90% of suicidal people. I lack two classes of having my developmental psychology degree. So I don't speak for everyone. But I speak for most folk. I'm not talking out of my ass. It's actually something that's really close to me.

I don't think you're talking out of your arse, and I have no personal experience of the 90%, but you know what, some of us do have the experience of the other 10, and I think that was my point and possibly Wings (not speaking for you Wings, slap me down if you like). Your 'deep grief' and fucking melancholia quips were a bit shitty I thought. I do get your point though.

Why? Because it made you feel bad for treating a human being like a diagnosis?

To be completely honest - if the murder occurred in the bedroom of the apartment, I think that would squick me. Totally irrational, but it's true. On the steps of the building, however, not so much.
more or less this. if it made me sad to walk past it each day, i'd have to consider options to move, but a murder or suicide in the apartment/house i lived in would definitely give me unhappy thoughts.

maybe it's a good thing not to know the history of a place - if you feel weird, then look into it. if not, let sleeping corpses lie.

Exactly.

Ha! I've kicked ole Deepak into touch have I!

I was never a fan of his TBH - I just liked that quote. :D

What the fuck are you on about?

You said that you didn't like my comments about suicide. When every comment was advocacy for suicidal people to be treated like people with a disease rather than a gloomy ass death. To be medically treated rather than left to die. And then romanticized over. Because to the people who are actually suffering through that, that's literally the most insulting thing that you can hear. It's more insulting than actual insults, than other people telling you that you should die. That you should kill yourself. Because at least those people are treating you like a living, thinking creature. Not as a goddamn ghost story.

In your voice you can speak for me any damn day!

And yes, you nailed that one.

Look twat, go back and actually READ what I posted. And then consider what this thread is actually about. Think about it.

Oh and...
