Crikey! I would have thought that one would be long gone. Thinking about some of the others, Hindley's house definitely was, and the Wests, I'm sure after the Philpott trial they said the council were knocking that one down. We had a murder in one of our stock, machete job, that was demolished.

I've volunteered for years with a number of psychiatric hospitals/institutions. I myself suffer from suicidal depression- like 90% of suicidal people. I lack two classes of having my developmental psychology degree. So I don't speak for everyone. But I speak for most folk. I'm not talking out of my ass. It's actually something that's really close to me.

To be medically treated rather than left to die. And then romanticized over. Because to the people who are actually suffering through that, that's literally the most insulting thing that you can hear. It's more insulting than actual insults, than other people telling you that you should die. That you should kill yourself. Because at least those people are treating you like a living, thinking creature. Not as a goddamn ghost story.
