Ms President?

I don't think Hillary can do it. Not enough people trust her any further than they can spit. She's been too radical and she still is. Whether that's good or not is moot, it's just what she is.

Chelsea might could do it, if she can keep her parent's taint off of her.

I hope that women do break that barrier and hope that it happens soon. Why do you predict that it will be Hillary, and why 2012? You obviously have a strong feeling about this.

I would vote for her.

2012 is the logical year for Hillary. Her Senate term began in Jan 2001, and expires in Jan 2007, meaning to run in 2004 she'd be doing it in the middle of her Senate term. If she passes up 2004, she could be re-elected in the 2006 election, which would serve until 2012, which is also a presidential elecion year. Plus, Democrats are assuming that a Dem wins election in 2004, so she wouldn't run against a Dem incumbent in 2008. In 2012, she could run against an open Dem field for the nomination.

Hillary is a downright bore, a dreadful bore. The Democrats would be stupid enough to nominate her because of her gender and not in spite of it. She's a US Senator only because Julianni dropped out of the race. I'm all for a woman President, but I'd hate to see the Republicans win the White House again because the Dems put their support behind this characterless snore.

Condoleezza Rice will be VP in 2004.

So I'm not the only person who believs Condoleezza will be the first female president. Whether Chainey steps down in 2004 or not, I think it's a pretty sure bet that Rice will be on a national Republican ticket in 2008. If she is on the ticket as VP in 2004, she will head the Rep ticket in 2008, if she is not on the ticket in '04, she will be VP on a ticket in '08.

If Rice is on the Rep ticket in '08, the Dems will have to put a female on the ticket in '08 to have a chance in hell against her. This is the reason that Hillary might be on the Dem ticket in '08.

just an opinion.
