I'm moving down to Canada's knickers in a few months for a couple of years. Anything I should know? Anything I should bring?

Just bring this:

We'll do the rest.

Welcome to the land down under.

Depending on where you're moving to, you'll have to either develop an affinity for bagels or rednecks.

Enjoy your stay.

Get a flu shot before you come.

People down here like to touch each other with dirty hands.

Haha what a gentleman. I should probably put more clothes on.

Bagelville, and thanks.

South Carolina.

If I know anything about South Carolina it's that I know absolutely nothing about it. By the way is there an echo in here??

Where in the USA are you moving? Just a general area, I mean -- I'm not looking for your address (I can't speak for anyone else here, though).

Yellow cab bagel land. Where are you from?

NYC!

Welcome once again!

With regards to bagels, go to Essa-Bagel on 3rd and 51st. Start small and work your way up to the 'everything' bagel.

Above all else, DO NOT stand close the the platform edge. Crazy people are about hunting for people to push onto the tracks. And, no matter what time of day, the middle subway car always has a conductor. That's the place to go if your spidey sense goes off.

Also, with our government now officially on an open-ended holiday, this may impact your ability to file paperwork in order to gain entry into our wonderful land.

If you've already received all necessary documents and permissions, congrats on planning ahead!

Should be easy for me...people like me put the "U" in humour. Get it? Get it?

:D

Oh yeah - unpack all the extra u's. Won't be needing them, and that should free up lots of space for the patience and humor.

Expect to cause a few traffic jams and turned heads running into street lamps when you wear your cutoffs during the summertime. ;)
