And that Santa Clause is always trying to get out of doing his job. The guy works one day a year and yet, the slightest thing happens and he says "Well, it looks like we'll have to cancel Christmas this year." I mean come on, how about a little effort St. Nick?
Seriously, check out those Rankin/Bass Christmas movies, in almost every one of them Santa is trying to kibosh our fun! Why did he take the job if her didn't want to do it?

And Santa needs to wash his hands once in a while. Have you seen them in the movie? And Mrs. Claus needs take a cooking class. All her meals are the color of clay. It’s a wonder Santa manages to gain any weight.

When I was in about 4th grade, I found a Christmas book in the school library, that showed the preparations Santa made on Christmas Eve, to get ready to deliver gifts around the world. It showed Santa on the toilet, and I thought that was hilarious!
I wish I knew the name of that book, and if I could still find a copy of it.
Like Scarlett O'Hara said, "Tomorrow is another day."I thought maybe.. perhaps we. I..but guess not..
