Sunday night/Monday morning.

Has it been weekend full of naughty fun, some online and some in RL?

So did any of you save yourself for online fun, turning down/avoiding/not initiating RL sex in order to make your online fun better? It's okay if you did, no one is judging........

You know, this is something I struggle with....the question of rl, and how much my fantasy life edges into it. I certainly have been guilty of avoiding/ not initating, sex in rl, in favor of a playmate here. Then I have to shake my head at my own behavior....hypocrite that I am....but I feel I' m revealing too much, courtesy of my slightly drunken state...maybe I' ll just go pass out :p and, btw, I did have fun this weekend, and not at the cost of rl ....

Thanks Purr, at least one person was on the night owl prowl.

Prowling, we all do it. We enjoy the positive reinforcement that someone finds us interesting. We are all enough of attention whores to allow the ego stroke when someone finds us sexy. But when you send that original PM, or reply is that an implicit sign that if it all goes well, there will be sex at some point?

I can't recall ever having turned down a physical encounter in favor or a Lit or online encounter. I have however not gone out seeking a physical encounter in favor of a Lit encounter. However, that has always been more of turning down a "maybe" in favor of a "sure thing". I travel extensively, so when I find myself in a hotel in a strange city, there have been times when I did not drift down to the hotel bar, or out into the city, in favor of staying in and having an online encounter.

As for the significance of a PM - the answer is "Maybe" - just like IRL. When you sit down next to a person who has caught your eye in a bar or a nightclub and strike up a casual conversation - it's not an implicit agreement to anything. It is just a conversation. How that conversation unfolds is what determines whether it goes in a sexual direction. For example, if the conversation starts with the other person looking you up and down and saying "My, my, my aren't you a tasty treat" odds are good. Or, if the PM response is "my god, I am so aroused, I was hoping you'd PM me" odds are good. If the answer in either environment is "Those Rangers are having a crappy start to the season..." odds are lower.

It is all in the context.

It's definitely frowned upon. Stay tuned, a topic will be out around that whole sad situation.

Okay, that was funny Paul.

And to answer the question, in most cases I assume that messages indicate sexual interest, this being a sex forum and everything. So, i take interest to be implicit. But, like Paul said, it' s no different from sitting next to someone and striking up conversation. You never know what could happen.

And how bout those Rangers?

Tosses soapbox back out into the room and hops on top. This one is pure pontificating, no question, no topic for discussion.

Can we please stop hating on each other? There were some pretty vile and vicious posts today by two Lit people that was as unnecessary as it was ruthless. Wishing death, calling each other fat & cunt has no basis for existence. Period.

If you are feeling that kind of emotion to an online acquaintance, issue your self a vacation and get the fuck offline for awhile. Nothing should move you to hatred here. I'm sure there's always a reason but there's never a reason.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here but it needs to end and I'm feeling some guilt for not stepping in and trying to end it. I don't know either of them but it was ridiculous. So maybe you aren't full of hate but maybe the next time you see it, you, me, somebody will try to put a stop to it. It serves no purpose.

I think, the more people try to stop that sort of idiocy the worse it gets.
As much as it galls me (and obviously you) to do it the only thing to do is let them have at each other until they're done. There isn't any 'higher authority' here to turn to when things get out of hand.

Maybe that should be the question. Does everyone like the freedom to say and do as they please even if it means living through this sort of eruption or would it be better if there were someone willing to exercise the authority to cut off certain conversations?

To be honest I'm not really sure how I would answer that one myself.

I'm not a First Amendment absolutist. Conversations that disrupt others' ability to post and clog up several threads should be moderated; it's a violation of the social contract. And the actions of a domme's attack dog should moderated, too
