I seem to wander in and out more. I catch up on what's going on with people. Nothing like watching CC and SM have their "true love" end up being a good chuckle for everyone. This thread is always provocative. Lots of thought and play in here. Sometimes the word games. I think it's a place I go when I'm antsy without an outlet.
At least I like the majority of the people here. And I don't have to listen to the guy on his cell at Starbucks telling everyone his entire life story, which is where I'd be killing time otherwise. :)

When I get on to Lit I check to see if there are any messages from my good friends and to play some word games/ A-Z name it threads. I love the make our own lymericks thread. It makes me laugh and stretches my brain. Obviously I love the other stuff that becomes a by-product of wandering the playground. Lit is my happy place where I can let go the responsibilities of rl and just have unbridled fun for a while :)

When I am in some deep shit in the office, sometimes I need something to distract my mind...and then logging into lit helps but distracts me more than i should..and I regret lurking around.. ;)

I check my Quicklinks first to see if anyone has posted, particularly on the discussion threads I post on - mostly LGBT. I normally keep a Lit tab open on my browser, but I've found the world keeps on turning when I close it.
Also I stop my browser showing images when I'm in public place, but in order to make a post it has to be turned on again, so posting during the daytime has to be furtive - like now :) Ooops - gotta go again

Lit is my favorite break during/between something(s) boring. Like today, I spent most of the morning scraping very old window colors paintings from youngest's window. Two are gone, three half-way and three others have some nicks taken out off them. I deserve breaks!

Happy Thursday!

I'm tired this morning, long day and a couple of late nights. And yet I stroll in here hoping to find........ I'm not sure what. What were you hoping to find this morning when you checked in? Or has Lit become "what you do" and you just show up?

I just show up...sometimes I post, sometimes I lurk, sometimes I only stay a few seconds. With everything I have to keep me busy in RL, I don't usually have time to stick around more than a few minutes, so it's a treat to be able to stay and play!

I always look to see whether I have any new PM's, and answer them....that is my favorite part honestly, corresponding with my lit friends. Then I play on my favorite threads.

Someone said there was candy. I'm here for that. Or the escape from life. One of the two.

Happy Friday. My week has been a mixed bag. Mostly really good but there were a few things I wished had been different. I guess that's what helps make the good parts, good. Which leads to this morning's topic: how much of Lit can you compartmentalize. Are you able to post in the moment and move on or does your time at Lit linger with you?

Funny you ask that because I' m trying to leave "lit stuff" here but it has a way of staying wth me. It might be a fantasy world, but it's inhabited by real people. Relationships happen. I find when it comes to that, my reality and fantasy lives have merged a bit.

But sometimes I just post in the light, silly threads, like the kissing thread, and move on. It really depends on my mood and what's going on here at the moment.

New topic: you are at a party having a good time, and you notice it's getting late, people have started to leave but you're still having fun. Do you stay and ride the fun longer or decide to get out while you're still having fun?

Most probably I would stay (a bit). If the mood turns to stupid alcohol influenced nonsense, I would leave after I put some glasses in the kitchen. Otherwise I might be one of the very last ones to leave after I helped the host/hosts/hostess a bit with washing up or putting things away.

and I'd stick with Rainy 'cos she's pretty cool and promised to give me a lift home and get ripped on her home grown. But yea, would help with the dishes first. Totally yea, the dishes... I can juggle too

Lift and homegrown? You mean that what I planted between the corn last year? How could I forget I promised you that!

Dont juggle with the dishes if you want to belong to the first people the host/hostess think of when they plan their next party ...

if you know the hosts well, stick around. But help clean up, and be sure you're still welcome.

If we and the host are still having a good time, stay no doubt. Some of my favorite times are when a party has wound down and there are 3 or 4 couples sitting around just chilling. That is usually when things start to get dirty.

It the host is yawning, we leave or if the hosts are fighting, we leave.

Um, will you invite me to one of those parties please?

And I feel the same way, stay if it feels right.

Happy Saturday. As we all know Lit is a sexual theme park. Whatever ride you like, you'll find it here. Many find new rides they'd never heard of or ones they always wanted to try but never did. None of us came here by accident, either. So tell us, what were you doing before you came to Lit? What was your outlet?

I have been coming to the story side of Lit for many years, simply reading. Prior to coming over to the Lit forums and diving into the threads and conversations I've enjoyed I wasn't really anywhere online - I view the whole of the internet as one giant cable box full of a million channels and I mainly just channel surf. There is some pretty interesting stuff out there - fiction, non-fiction, and what-the-hell-is-that.

I too have been reading the stories here for the better part of a decade, but came to the forums last summer. I'm not sure I should publicly disclose what my sexual outlet was before hopping on the boards though. Let's just say there were definitely real life catalysts that drove me here, all rather unhealthy. It's much safer to be directing my extra sexual energy and need for sexual attention here to an online universe, and I'm glad I had the wisdom then to know it.

I will say that I had no idea what a wild ride Lit would be, though. Not even a clue...

I had no outlet. When I found the stories 10 or so years ago, I started writing myself. Later on I found the boards and then...well..yeah. its been some kind of ride. And I keep coming back to the park, no matter how long the hiatus is.
