Spins - I think you are wrong. The OP had an idea of what they wanted the thread to be and they have as much of a right to try and keep the thread true to the original concept as the person who decides to go off topic. The concept of thread jacking is built on the sole purpose of being disruptive. Just because one has the ability do have free speech doesn't mean there can't be consequences to what say.
While the thread was a general question , it's genesis was based on people hijacking this thread. And I am telling those that engage in that behavior that it's not welcomed. Don't think of it as rule setting, think of it as a set of societal norms.
I'm so confused.
