I'm never getting my shirt back.

I loaned my shirt to my sister one night because she said she didn't have anything clean and nice enough to see her boyfriend in. The shirt is now hers.

Ever loan something to somebody and never see it again?

Various parts of me...But I knew that was a risk when I gave them.

Umm, nobody has anything of mine I think.

I have this guy Ben's copy of "The Man in the Iron Mask" sitting on my desk that he loaned to me in eighth grade. If you see him, tell him he can have it back now.

No.

You've obviously never heard of the give her 24 hours to return the shirt in the same condition in which it was borrowed or have one thing in her home broken for every 15 minute delay on the return technique.

It works every time.

You know, people just don't borrow my stuff anymore. I'm a generous gal, too.

A good policy is to never loan out anything that you can't spare to never see again.

The slight problem with that plan is first of all her home is my home, and secondly, she doesn't really give a tenth of a shit about any of her stuff anyway.

Then cut a little bit of her hair from the underside in the back while she's sleeping. Tape it to a typewritten note that says you'll cut the rest of it down to a half inch if you don't get your shirt back in the same condition in which is was loaned out by the next evening.

:)

Ah...since they're getting married

NO GIFTS until you get that shirt back.

And promise to tag along on the honeymoon -- that might get them to re-think their position regarding the shirt.

Yes. They're going to get married if he doesn't commit suicide first.

Would he commit suicide to avoid being your brother-in-law?

I know you probably hate it when people swoon over your devious ways, KM, so I won't. But know that I considered it.

I'm certainly not that egocentric as to assume that would be the reason. Besides, they met through me. I just wish my bitch of a sister met some women for a change. Ah well.

No, he's going to commit suicide when he turns 29. We have no doubt he is going to do it to. He's dead serious. The only problem is we don't know how close he is to the "termination date", so it leaves us a little worried.

I'm a total inadvertent klepto...I have two textbooks that I borrowed from a classmate that never got returned. I have two shirts, one pair of sweatpants, and some running pants from previous boyfriends that they gave me to sleep in that never got returned. I have one GAP t-shirt that someone gave me...never got returned.

However, as the universe works through karma:
I had a boyfriend take one pair of thigh-highs from me (don't ask), I have lost three going out (aka slut-wear) tops, one dress, and one pair of sweatpants to previous roommates.

That's rather sad and I'm sure there's quite the story behind this. I think a knife set is definitely out as a wedding gift.

i loaned someone my innocence once..i never got that back

:)

So in this supply chain you've lost some slutty garb and gained some sweaty stuff. You need to improve on your inadvertent klepto opportunities...

I don't know any boxers or I'd send 'em to you. I'm sure they'd go a round or two with ya. ;)

I'm not sure what this says about my prostitute-style red pleather shirt that diablogrl borrowed and returned.

sigh...guess I'll have to go to bed commando again tonight.

I assume you apply full camoflage, too. I don't recommend it. On second thought, that could be fun!
