If you could ask God one question, what would it be?

why SHE lets everyone go on believing SHE'S a man??? :D

And you'd get an answer along the lines of "Either way makes no difference to an asexual entity."

Pathetic as it is...

I'd ask Him when the end is coming, though I know only He can know. But assuming I could, I would. That way, if it was soon, I'd be scared shitless enough to pull my sorry ass off the fence and try to keep myself out of Hell. I guess it's all in His plan to weed out the lazy (me) from the truly devoted, but this not knowing when Judgement is coming thing really inspires me to be less than I should be. After all, it's been over 2000 years since He said He was coming back. What difference does one more century make? But, then again, if it happened tomorrow, I'd be in deep poop. All I could depend on is mercy. And I'm far from deserving.

Could anybody guess I'm Catholic? Yeah, guilty upbringing. But I believe a person has to try to help themself. Otherwise, Hitler, McVeigh, Hussein and all those other kooks are just as likely to get into Heaven as Mother Theresa. If the resurrection of Jesus saves us ALL, with a few simple words, then why is there a hell? Don't we have to at least try to be worthy of His sacrafice? You see my psychosis?

Will you please tell Auntie I still miss her horribly and love her?

Ever read the story of the prodigal son? BTW, I believe it was Mark Twain that said it was the best short story ever written--or something like that.

... Ebeneezer Scrooge type.
Thanks for the explanation. That explains the basis for welfare entitlement programs, i. e., the irresponsible are entitled to be supported by those who are not irresponsible.

Now, my question:

Who really killed JFK?
William Hickey
Pardon my failure of memory. The correct name is George W. Hickey, Jr.

Not at all, UB!

What do you think, that Junior kicked back on the couch, watching TV and eating bonbons from then on? Hell, no! As soon as the party was over, Dad put Junior back to work on the family farm, doing the same chores he had before he left.

Now, who the heck is William Hickey? Or am I forgetting my history again?

i think i would have to ask why he lets us have our entire youth to learn shit we cant do when we get older. but we dont know we cant do it till we try, then we say damn i cant do that any more. like me i used to be able to do a back flip but now common sense says do not put your ass above your head.

i have only one question right now that i would ask him/her. it's the only question i have that stays the same, and it's the question i most often wonder about. there are many that go with it, but they all center around this one question:

is she ok?

being an all-knowing, all-seeing type of guy/girl, god would know who i was asking about and could tell me what i despertely want to know.

You're not likely to find his name in any history book. He's the best candidate I've heard for the third bullet. Oswald fired two, Hickey one. I read a book titled Mortal Error which is where I got the info.

The bullets fired by Oswald would not have caused the type of wound Kennedy suffered to the head.

ohhhhh

Right you are! Neither did Oswald have the time to hide the gun the way it was hidden and physically get to the movie theatre where the police found him.

I'll check out the book, UB--thanks
