DM annoying

Just wanting to put it out there for others to comment on. I like doing DM with people instead of having a conversation in the body of someone's thread but there needs to be some common sense when doing so.
If you are going to ask people personal questions such as age, sex, location and so on shouldn't you either be up front and put your information out there first or respond immediately when asked the same question?
I feel like people want something to jerk off to or Jill off to and if that's the case go read a story instead of sending DM's

Thoughts?

That statement is a very accurate one indeed. I see that happen very often it's usually someone just want to get his/her rocks off!

I agree totally. Isn't that what a profile is for. They should take the time to read your profile, better yet have one themselves.

But on a different "DM annoying" topic...
I was puzzled that after using this site for 10 weeks w/o a single DM (didn't even know the feature existed), I was suddenly bombarded by a lot of DM requests early this week. I'm suspicious that my handle appeared on a list of women on another site (reddit 4chan...). Any ideas?

A "bombarded" DM Inbox could be a good, or a bad thing...depending on what you find in there...:unsure:

Yes, it is aggravating. When they start asking questions about what I'm into, I tell them to read my profile. Some continued with a nice chat others I don't hear back. Oh well, no skin off my ass.
 
My DM annoyance is if I'm asked a question which is fine I will usually answer it and attempt to get a conversation going by asking something back. I find the other person will limit their usually very short answers to the scope of exactly what I asked. I don't have the skill to keep that conversation going.
 
I had a series of “hey, how are you” and “what are you doing” messages then “ask me anything, I’m open” but when I asked the average airspeed velocity of a swallow they got it wrong.
