For fucks sakes people - it's just a goddamned sticky! It isn't a permanent fixture.
This hasn't been the first sticky on the GeeBee and I daresay *gasps* it won't be the last. Perhaps if y'all have some catastrophic occurance in a region relatively close to you, where a lot of GeeBee members reside, you'll get your very own sticky if you ask for it. Or at the very least, may come to appreciate the thought behind one if you have anyone (here) that you are even remotely worried about.

Let's review a few things first -
It's a free fucking site, we don't pay a fucking penny to come here and we can leave at any time we are annoyed by something because, shock of all shocks, we aren't shackled to the forum.
Just as we don't own Lit, though some of us may seem to view it as "ours", Laurel and Manu actually do. Therefor, they can pretty much do wtfever they want to on THEIR site.
All of this stupid, silly, bullshit just goes to show that people will bitch about anything. Some of you have taken a well intentioned, nice idea and made it your own personal bitchfest when you could have just as easily started another thread about it.
.. oh wait, KS already did that - I guess that the reason why it's back 4+, or so, pages is because Laurel didn't deem it sticky worthy and not because the majority of people think that the entire thing is ridicules. No, it can't be that at all.

Another thing - you actually have to have a job, to earn money, in order to donate any to anyone, for whatever cause there is. Warranted or not.



-- Now as to my actual reason for opening and posting here, I'm glad to hear that a few of y'all have heard from some of the lit members. I appreciate that people are keeping the rest of us updated because some of us actually do give a damn.
