Umm maybe because we decided 33 years ago that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

Just because we are able to share our bodies with others does not mean that we love each other less than someone who has so many hangups and is so blatantly closed minded that they can't make the distinction between love and sex.

Love is emotional and sex is physical and only social convention has tied the two together.
