How to

Thank you Fire Breeze. That does make sense. I used to delete but leaving the thread alone is a much more mature and adult way to deal with a thread I am no longer interested in. Have a good day.

News flash! This is a public discussion board for people worldwide to discuss what's on their mind (serious or not), meet like-minded individuals, perv out, and just have fun. It is not Beck31's personal interview site. As trivial as some of your hundreds of original post inquiries are, just because YOU are "no longer interested" doesn't really warrant a reason to delete the thread. Not a single thread you've started comes to mind that in one way or another hasn't been an exhausted topic of discussion. Maybe you're honestly as inquisitive as you seem to be, but in some ironic way your persistence seems to keep you just shy of troll status.

I know I sound like an asshole right now, but a simple topic search before vomiting up the first ounce of sexual curiosity that pops into your head for a new thread topic will easily keep you from becoming a target of some of your less-tactful fellow Lit members. If you start a thread and respond to every single post with a simple "wow that's hot", "I totally agree", or "that's really interesting, I have no clue who you are but I'm so glad I finally found out something I didn't know about you", etc... it's going to stay alive. If others aren't interested, they simply won't post. And when everyone else is tired of talking about it, the thread moves down the list out of sight and out of mind. Dead. Simple as that. Learn this. If you aren't interested anymore, do the same and spare us all please.

Yep. Beck has his own troll now. Asked how to launder shit stains, and asked the sex toys their opinions of humans sticking them in naughty places.

I'm not allowed to let a thread die. I took the hippocratic oath.

Sometimes I write on a thread "DNR" or Do Not Resuscitate though. I do think there comes a time when the thread just gives out, y'know like something dying; Almost like "come in number 1, your time is up." Ah, then we pass through the tunnel with the light at the end; we TRANSCEND, if you will, and pass up into that great forum in the sky.

Happy days.

Reminds me of that song by the Prodigy "I'm a thread starter, sadistic thread starter....hey hey hey..."
