Hello, we are new here and wondering if anyone has recommendations or experience with Tantra in-person workshops or retreats? We are hoping to find techniques to prolong male ejaculation and shorten reaching orgasm for the female. Any suggestions or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

MngmzCpl,

Welcome. You're asking the right questions... and at the right time. Because what you're describing.. prolonging male ejaculation, shortening female orgasm time...are two sides of the same coin, and most workshops won't tell you that. Let me save you some time, money, and frustration.

First, a surprising truth.... The techniques you're looking for are not "advanced." They're foundational. But most Western Tantra workshops skip over them because they're too busy selling you on chakras, candles, and eye-gazing. What you're actually asking for is ejaculatory control and female arousal acceleration. Both are trainable. Both require practice. Neither requires a weekend retreat.

For you, delaying ejaculation... The secret isn't in the pelvic floor muscles alone. It's in the breath. Men who ejaculate quickly are usually shallow breathers. They hold their breath during sex. They tense their abdomen. They chase the sensation instead of riding it. Tantric practice teaches you to breathe into the pleasure, not away from it. Slow, deep breaths through the nose. Belly expansion. Relaxing the pelvic floor rather than clenching it. When you feel the edge approaching, you don't stop, you soften. You breathe deeper. You let the energy spread through your body instead of concentrating it in your cock. This takes practice. But it works and it's the opposite of what most men do, which is clench, hold, and try to "last longer" through sheer willpower.

Willpower fails. Breath doesn't.

For her, shortening time to orgasm Here's what most workshops won't tell you: women don't need "longer" foreplay. They need betterforeplay. The key isn't duration...it's attunement. Most men touch women the way they want to be touched. Fast. Direct. Goal-oriented. Women need the opposite. Start slow. Start everywhere but there. Build anticipation. Make her wait for it. The longer you delay direct stimulation, the faster she'll orgasm when you finally get there. It's counterintuitive, but it's true and breath matters for her too. When she's close, don't speed up. Slow down. Breathe with her. Let her ride the wave instead of chasing it.

About workshops, Most Tantra workshops in the West are... diluted. They focus on intimacy, connection, and "sacred sexuality" without teaching the actual mechanics of sexual mastery.

If you want the real thing, look for teachers trained in authentic lineages. Specifically:
  • Charles Muir (Source Tantra) — one of the few Western teachers with legitimate training.
  • Diana Richardson — her work on "slow sex" is practical and grounded.
  • Any teacher trained in the Bihar School of Yoga — they teach the real techniques, not the New Age fluff.
Avoid workshops that promise "full-body orgasms" without explaining how to build the foundation first. Avoid retreats that cost thousands and deliver nothing but eye-gazing and platitudes.

One more thing, and this is important, You're asking how to make him last longer and her finish faster. But the deeper question is: what happens after? Tantra isn't about performance. It's about presence. The goal isn't to "last longer" or "orgasm faster." The goal is to be so completely with each other that time stops mattering. When you're truly present, ejaculation becomes a choice, not a reflex. When you're truly present, her orgasm isn't something you "give" her, it's something you share.

So practice the techniques. Learn the mechanics. But don't forget the foundation: slow down. Breathe. Be here. Now. That's the real secret. Everything else is just technique.

A simple practice you can try...

Sit facing each other. Cross-legged. Knees almost touching. Hold hands. Close your eyes. Breathe together. In through the nose. Out through the mouth. Slowly. Deeply. For ten minutes. Don't speak. Don't touch anywhere else. Just breathe. After a few minutes, something shifts. You'll feel each other. Not just the hands. Not just the breath. Each other. That's where the real work begins.

Good luck. You're already on the path.
