First Munch Tips?

I will but I do not thing I am a sub, I have issue with rules and orders you see so at the least I could be a switch with strong dom desires or just a dom but until I explore more I can't really say. I do however want to attend the newbie party and particapate in as many demos as possible. THe other issue is I am tired of being single so much as I would rather just be where I am at then keep playing the game with losing results.

L J - I used sub referencing my own ID at the time. In large general terms un-partnered new men are a dime a dozen and often seen clouded with the experiences left over by the last (pick-a-number) jerks that,
#1 did not care to connect the other as a real human being,
#2 did not know squat about safe play,
#3 had lousy - if any - BDSM RL skills,
#4 weren't just in for the next "get-me-off",
#5 craving for someone to "own" from the Top or bottom,
#6 all yucky clingy,
#7 would no call in the morning,
#8 would call in the morning,
#9, #10, #11, etc.

In wide general terms new sub men often present themselves pathetically, new Top men present themselves as potentially dangerous. New switch men are all over the place.

It takes time. The new male must prove himself to be safe and sane. Eventually the consensual opportunity will present itself.

IMHO.

Patience, patience, patience. Always with the patience. :)

Some folks get to know and trust each other at different speeds. You can be a very direct person, which can be great, but can also feel a bit rushed, especially to a group of people who are used to being cautious. :)

Just stick with 'em. Let 'em learn you really do want to be part of the group. It'll get better with time. :)

The most recent munch was for members only, to set up rules and so on. I'm a member now but I have NO interest in running anything else, that is what I'm trying to find a relief and balance of, plus I was tired and the notice only came out on Thursday when the meeting was Saturday. Now if I were into setting rules the notices would get out earlier you can bet your bippy, they would!

I asked my husband if now that he's seen there is no sex going on, would he be more comfortable with me going alone to Demos. He said yes! *smiles* What a good and fair man he is. I think this will help us both out.

Yes!

I want to learn as much as I can, not just from books and web sites but in person!!

Ooh and think about it, he can stay home or go out with the guys, whatever he wants, while I learn and apply said learning. *grins*

Of course I'd rather have someone in my life who was into these things as I am but no one is perfect, no relationship is perfect, at least none that I've seen or had. *L*

Chipmunk outfit? Now that's kinky! :p

did you not know that a Chipmunk outfit was kinky?

It was the X, Y and Z stuff, I fucking hate Algebra. I didn't understand that whole post.

(Chipmunk outfits are nutty too if you ask me.)

Hell, yeah! I've rescued chipmunks from my cats before and they are too damn dumb to do math.

So next month the demo is on something I don't care to see, though I might want to try it myself. I'm going to be picking the demos I push to attend rather carefully.

There's a BDSM group around here that I have met with and have an open invitation to join... just have not actually knuckled down and made all the arrangements yet. Been discussing the idea with the gf for a while now... possibly this summer (since schedules should calm some with the semester over).

I felt a need to go and learn in RL about things. The biggest worry I had was seeing someone I knew there. That was also my husband's biggest worry. It didn't happen though.

I totally understand! I've read pretty much everything I could get my hands on on the subject matter (both the parts I was and was not interested in, to make sure I was as informed as I could be); but there is no replacement for first-hand knowledge of the subject matter.

The gf is not as experienced in it as I am, but she is quite an AVID learner now... she was in a very long, very vanilla relationship before this and had come to believe that her kink was a sign of something wrong with her. Now that she is with me, she is seeing that there is nothing wrong with it, so long as it does not control your life or impede normal aspects of living. For her, finding acceptance of her kinks is a very new, exciting, and mind-opening thing (as well as doing wonders for her self-esteem).

That's wonderful!

I now have a small kink library that I am lending to those I know have an interest.

I just thirst for more know how and knowledge in this area. The bedroom is a great place to try things but to know more before hand about certain things is needed before experimenting with them. Electricity is one of those areas for instance.

Oh hell yeah! Of course, Electrical play is not one we're into (she gets static charges very easily and swears she would explode lol)... but I still find it fascinating to learn about.

But, since we're into CBT... we REALLY make sure on what and how much is safe!!! No trips to the ER for us!

*nods*

I can see that you would want to explore.

I tell you want made me a bit jealous was that so many people had genital piercing's. Not only that they said it makes them feel so much more. It also provided for handle electrode placing!

I had to wonder what I was missing. Also had to wonder where in the hell you'd get that done. Oh and how much louder does the vibrator sound with one??? LOL!

It's good to be able to talk to local people about these sorts of things and more. I mean when they say, "Go down to Holes R Us on third street and Maple, then ask for Jim, it works for ya, you know?

LMAO

Holes R Us? And just what kind of holes are we talking about? :D

Hell, why not? We have little outlet stores here called "Jay's Grillz n' Bling" so why not "Holes R' Us" lol...

On a side note, I have always wanted to open a knick-knack store named "Stuff & Things".
