But all-in-all, she's doing well and hopefully this weekend will be almost back to normal.
Thanks for asking Lilly, I just got off the phone with her. They released her early and she got home early this afternoon. she still has some pain and a headache from the lack of solid food (she just needs to get used to this) and was gonna medicate herself and go lay down!Lilly4 said:Talk to Mermaid yet today Jim?

Hi All!!
Just talked with My Lady Mermaid... except for the sinus infection that she has, she is doing great!! Should be able to go out for a little walk tomorrow!!
I told her that everyone has been asking about her and she might even get on here sometime soon!

Sister Hazel!
Hey Folks!
Don't know if most of you knew this or not, but I collect autographs and one of my favorite things to do is go to autograph signings! Well today the rock group Sister Hazel is in Jacksonville doing a concert tonight and had an CD signing at one of the local Sound Advice stores. I bought a CD, had the poster inside and the CD signed, got yo talk to a couple of the guys a bit and also got several pictures. So I thought I'd share!!
BTW... listened to most of the CD "Chasing Daylight" and it's not too bad!!
Enjoy the pics!

Just an update.. I am now on my healing liquid diet, and I feel pretty good just a bit sore. I will be back at work Monday.
Also, I saw a comment made by an uninformed doctor that it is not as effective as gastric bypass.. That is untrue... that is based on an outdated study by the FDA.. I researched it for 18 months before making the decision. The long term success rates are comparable to gastric bypass. There is a lot of good information out there about the surgery.
I chose it because it was less invasive, mortality rates are almost non-existent, it is outpatient surgery, and the success rates long term are the same, but it is a slower method than bypass, with weight continuing to drop off for 2 or more years if necessary.
I would suggest that whatever surgery you choose, that you have well-researched it and know all of the pros and cons...LOL.. I am now off my soapbox, but if you have questions, I would be glad to talk to you about both surgeries since I have researched them both.
