What ingredients do they have? :)

These ones are all traditional yolk in the middle recipes with lotus paste.

Had some of the newer, funkier versions like egg custard mooncakes, green tea mooncakes and assorted too-much-sugar in them mooncakes. Buttt.... I ate them all up before I stumbled on this thread :D:D

Asians have more fun? Haha, aren't we reknown for studying too hard in school and working too hard at work?

But sure, you can be an honorary one, why not? Its the understanding of culture and values that define an ethnicity after all, as much as the world wants to make it about phenotypes.

I so agree...to embrace another culture is such a gift...:rose:

I prefer the traditional ones with four yolks. :D

Asians have more fun...can I be an honorary one today?...

Of course, and you spend so much time in Asian countries. :) :rose:

Can't ever go wrong with the classics! Decades of being prepared in the same way speaks for their delicious-ness.

Seems like your application has been seconded, welcome! You may now partake from our mooncake stash:D

Ahhhh Mooncake...do tell...:)

Mooncakes are traditionally eaten during the mid autumn festival, which is happening right now.

There used to be just one type, but now there are a few variations. I prefer the iced mooncakes, which are eaten cold and kept in the fridge.

They're tasty, but also extremely calorific!

My father was born of Filipino parents in the US, while my mother could cover most everything else, including a couple shots of different Native American tribes here & there. Depending on how I wear my hair, I either appear Apache or Asian.
But I can assure you that the Asian is definitely in there :)

Welcome!

Quoted for truth. Rossie will disagree, but we outnumber her 2 to 1 now mwahaha.

I like these odds!

Nope, all for holidays. Various reasons for going to each place.

I usually only PM once I am more familiar with someone ;)

Haha, no worries, was only trying to take into consideration you might not have wanted to reply in a public thread. It obviously wasnt an issue. :)

Can't be too easy, ya know? :p

That's not so personal a question. If you wanted to know about my secret enjoyment of Backstreet Boys music, well, that's a different story

You like Backstreet Boys!!! I love them!!!

Night Rossie!!

I had one of their concerts on my dvr. When we cancelled out service, that was something I regretted.

Tell me you saw "This is the end". Goosebumps when they are in heaven and bsb come out singing. Now I want to watch it again just to ff to the end.
