Quirky obsessions

Is it weird to love the sound a particular brand of paper makes when you turn the pages after you’ve used it for a length of time~~asking for a friend. It’s that slight crinkle noise - anyone else like that noise?

No, not weird at all! I listen to paper ASMR sometimes - it’s just all people turning pages - and I have definite favorite types of paper.

I cringe when someone opens a book wide. Breaking the spine, especially in paperbacks.

The most my books are opened is around 45 degrees. I've books I've had 40+ years that still look brand new.

I do that… I can’t stand not being able to see both pages 😂 With paper backs, sometimes I’ll even fold one side behind to make it easier to hold.

🙋🏼‍♀️ Me too.. well, it is not often that I fold the side behind, but.. Sometimes?

Also, the wear and tear of the books, that only reminds me of the cosy time I spent reading them. 🙈❤️
