Oh, I know this feeling too well! The amount of money I’ve wasted on things that I lose interest in after a short time… I’ve started looking for stuff for free/cheap on Facebook so I don’t spend too much. I have a whole container of embroidery thread that I got for free, waiting until I get interested in that again!
I received so many of these when I was diagnosed with cancer. Like ‘calm your nerves with coloring’. But I’m a perfectionist so whenever I’d color outside of the lines I’d get angry.
I also find that something that is long winded to learn can fuck right off too! I got a new PC game which looked really good and then I saw how involved it was and suddenly everything else in the world seemed more important!

Oh, definitely! I see people making all these incredible things that are beautifully embroidered, but after looking into it a little, it’s too complicated for me. I just want something easy I can do with my hands to help me focus & relax.

Exactly! I do the same thing! All the kids utensils go in one part of the utensils tray, same with all other silverware and then any large utensils in their place!The teaspoons are shorter than the other utensils, so I only put them in the two shorter compartments of the utensil basket.
And...I move them when my wife puts them in the "wrong" slots.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciates this!
So do tell.....How many albums in your collection...and YES it's a life plan...
