Well, Happy birthday from me. I'm glad you were born more than 18 years ago.Thank you!
So Daddy forgot my birthday, even though I reminded him on Tuesday that it was today. I don't know whether I'm even going to bother saying anything to him about it or not. It won't change anything, anyway.
I spent my day helping my mother put up Christmas decorations. Yay.![]()

Oh crap it's almost Christmas time. I mean, yay, Christmas time is coming, time to go rearrange everything so we can get our tree up.
Did you at least have some fun hanging out with your mom? Do you have any fun holiday traditions that you look forward to?
Hey All: I'm looking for some moral support. My long-term Daddy has stopped communicating and I don't know why.
I was travelling for Thanksgiving to be with family. It was far and into a different country. I was on my way back home and the engine in my car went into, "limp," mode. I'm now stranded, waiting to hear about the warranty coverage.
I have been adulting SO hard and it makes me want my Daddy much more. To make matters worse, I left my usual cuddle stuffie at home and brought a smaller one that is easier to pack.
I'm just floundering a bit.
Thank you for this, especially that last part. I also lost my dog this year. I used to talk to him about everything and he would snuggle into me. I never thought about telling my travel stuffie. I bet it feels good. I appreciate the suggestion.I am so sorry this is all happening to you at once. It seems like things never happen one at a time with space between them so you can recover from one crisis before another one pops up. Oh, no, it all crashes down on you at one time, and it's fucking overwhelming. So I'm really sorry about that.
Also, as someone whose Daddy communicates whenever he damn well feels like it and ignores me the rest of the time, I'm sorry your Daddy has stopped communicating, too. It's frustrating and infuriating, and it makes you feel insignificant.
I hope things get better for you soon. Hug your travel stuffie close and tell him/her/it/they what's on your mind. They'll understand. They always do.
