So Daddy forgot my birthday, even though I reminded him on Tuesday that it was today. I don't know whether I'm even going to bother saying anything to him about it or not. It won't change anything, anyway.
I spent my day helping my mother put up Christmas decorations. Yay.

Oh crap it's almost Christmas time. I mean, yay, Christmas time is coming, time to go rearrange everything so we can get our tree up.
Did you at least have some fun hanging out with your mom? Do you have any fun holiday traditions that you look forward to?

Thank you so much! I'm 42 today and feel at least twice that, lol.
It was ok, just exhausting. I'm not much of a family person, I guess, so none of the holiday traditions really appeal to me. I go along with them because it makes my mom happy, but I'd really rather spend the holidays doing something else, lol. I know that's awful, haha.

No not awful. Everyone has different desires and wants. Personally I'd be much happier if I could give presents without receiving any. I don't need any of this stuff. D= Just give me a picture or a card or something immaterial and lemme give you stuff. Stupid family wanting to give and receive.
But I love them, so like you I go along with it and act excited about the gifts. And occasionally they surprise me with something that I am really happy to have gotten.
