OK I went out on a sort of date this evening. Nothing stressful. Low-key. We just met for pizza. I'm not sure I felt romantic sparks but he was sweet as could be. And very cute too ! We spoke of our careers. Home improvements. Basic stuff. He has already called once after bringing me home who knows . I'm feeling happy. The silly sort of happy. I met a boy

Good morning everyone in the Bistro,

Thank you all for the support. So far so good he has a very sweet, kind nature about him. I like that. I had him over for coffee. Nothing else so don't go thinking naughty just yet. He was nervous and I thought that was cute. This morning I'm off to the pediatrician with the wee one. His allergies I think. Always something right.

Well just my luck I meet a guy and get the flu !! Had to place dating on his or. Wee bit me shared his. we have both been so incredibly sick. Thankfully he is Better. Last night for me was horrible. I remember praying in my sleep. Slept in my recliner. My rib cage is so sore from coughing !! First time I've ever had the flu that I can recall. Hope you guys are all fairing well

Sorry to hear you are ill, but first time ...? Do you understand how rare / odd that is? I get flu almost every year, this one included.

Not much new, so get better soon.

Windchill is -39 C got the Flu as well and staying Home proably for the rest of the Week

Oh no ling ! I'm sorry to hear that. I'm in Day 4 of the evil flu. I sound like I have a freight train in my chest . BrettJ I know right. I don't recall ever having the flu before. And I don't think I could forget it. Just minor colds. This hit me Sunday like bam !!!

Far too quiet in here. I'm on day 6 of the flu. The flu is better but my asthma is terrible. I did make a date for Valentines day. Only for Thursday. He has to work the holiday. We are taking a drive and to my fave cupcake place.

I had / have the flu as well, spent most of yesterday and today in bed.

Radiation starts in a few more days - so I guess I'd better get used to being sick.

Investor and everyone thank you and hope your Valentine's Day was special. I didn't do anything. My new guy had to work. We are celebrating tomorrow after wee one is off to school. Going out for breakfast and coffee. Shopping. Then my fave cupcake place. The flu is gone. I'm left with bronchitis and asthma. Day two of prednisone. I feel a tiny bit better.

Happy presidents day everyone . Thank you SCcouple. I had a rough weekend. I had to call off yesterday. I never miss. I was up all night Saturday night coughing. I do feel slightly better this morning. Maybe the Prednisone is finally kicking in. Hope you all have a terrific Presidents Day.

It is "Family Day" here, a new holiday created in some provinces to give families a day off. No big whoop for me.

Home for a bit, not much new. Was nice to see my friends yesterday.

Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I popped in here. I didn't realize you were doing radiation treatments Brett. Hope everything is OK. April 4th will mark 3 years since my 35th & last treatment. Is your skin getting a little burnt?? My husband made me saline wraps for my neck so I didn't get burnt or scarred, they worked great

Prednisone
The worst drug ever!! After cancer I got ITP (low platelets). Was on & off it 4 times for 1 1/2 years. Hope all is well Tatts

Hello LEIGH, long time, no see.

Yes, I have throat cancer and they found it late, so doing radiation. It hasn't been a good 3 years, health-wise. Since October, all I have done is get sicker.
