Hello to all, thanks investor.

Sick as hell today. Did not get out of bed until almost 4 and went out for a bit. BAD idea. I feel wretched. Going to bed as soon as I finish eating (applesauce as the thought of most food and cooking it makes me want to hurl again) and resting. Not sure if this is more flu or aftershock of treatment.

BrettJ I am so sorry. Have they ordered you anything to help with the nausea ? A popular med we use with great results is zofran. Worth checking into. Hugs and get well wishes sent to you.

Leigh, good to see you. I agree about Prednisone. It's wicked. But once my asthma gets that bad it's the only thing that will kick it. Thank you and yes I'm much better !! Just in time for the spring time allergies.

Good morning all.
T4T I'm glad I don't have to take Prednisone again as my platelets are up & staying up. Brett, I remember it was my 9th radiation treatment when I started to feel crappy . Keep your head up.
My puppy is getting bigger, I need to weigh her again as 2 weeks ago she was 50lbs & tomorrow she'll be 7 months old. She can keep me busy but she has been pretty good, getting pretty smart as I spend lots of time with her.

Still under the weather, nausea and hiccups that won't stop. They tried an anti-nausea med ... it didn't do much. Was in the hospital all of last night until 2 this morning.

Glad to see we're moving again.

The weather says we may see snow Sunday. Moreso in the NC mountains. Wee one and I are heading to Asheville. Ski Beach. A day of fun in some snow is just what I need.

Today was another rough one. I should have stayed home, but I am sick of being bedridden.

I think T4T and NRSE are the only two people I know who will drive to the mountains to play in the snow!! (I discount those who take ski trips )

Winter advisory here tonight, with rain turning to snow over nite, with some ice on the roads We always seem to get an early March snow up here . . . sort of the last gasp of winter weather. And yes, I know we are likely considered winter wimps by our northern Bistroites, but we still don't want to trade climates with them!

Tree pollen already in the air.

Winter came back here a few days ago. I stayed in almost all of yesterday / today, save for my treatment.

I am going to try and venture out, but no, not feeling much better. I am struggling just to eat anything at this time.

Hello to the Bistro

Hugs to BrettJ. I've plenty to share.
Saturday was fun. We did get to play in the snow. But wee one shared something with me that has me troubled. Not concerning him per say. He was telling me about some testing. The students who did really well got to enjoy a pizza party. The students who did average or poorly got only goldfish crackers. He told me he had two slices of pizza so he offered a slice to a friend with only crackers. He was told he couldn't do this as that student had not reached his goals. So my wee one said he just didn't eat his pizza either. I'm proud of his sweet gentle heart for that. First off I feel test scores should be a bit more private. All kids aren't the A team All-stars. They are still wonderful and worthy and should all be treated the same. Secondly to think of a child having to watch others eat pizza when all you had was crackers. What if that child worked equally as hard and did their best ? I don't know. It just bothered me.

I hope everyone is doing fine. It's cold here tonight. Farmers are very worried about the peach and apple orchards
