I played with a woman with smallish breasts who liked to tie a long rope around her body, wrapping it around her chest and back above and below her breasts. They never turned purple, but some of the blood was constricted.

She liked the way that the rope kept her from taking deep breaths, and her breasts were harder and more sensitive when I fondled them. I would suspect the feelings would be the same with a rope tied around the base of a large breast.

I've done it, WD. It's not my all-time fave way to play, but i've certainly done some of it. And it's not the look of the bondage that appeals to anyone i've ever played with in that way - i think it looks nasty, quite frankly - it's the exquisite tenderness and sensitivity over ever square centimeter of bound breast that is the attraction, at least on my side. I *don't* know the attraction on the Dom/me side, don't have much insight into that headspace.

From my perspective, very tightly bound breasts has always been about what my Dom/me wanted. I wanted to give what they wanted to take. They needed my reaction, my vocalizations, my submission to a thing that didn't totally thrill me. I needed to please them, to walk the erotic/pain edge in another manner, and to submit.

Additionally, off on the edge, for people interested in blood play, tightly bound breasts can offer quite a lot of flow with a minimum of cutting, whipping, pins, needles, etc.

When the bonds come off, it's like nipple clamps coming off, only it's all over your breasts and less intense. Same prickly, pain/pleasure, blood rushing back feeling, though.

The Dom/me *has to* be sure not to leave the bonds on so long that tissue is damaged - but that goes without saying, doesn't it?
