Ask Me A Question v. 1.9.19

Love the question and the genre, G.
Spotlight, because Marty Barron now hits for my DC team and the subject spoke to my Catholic roots as a boy growing up during that time. The way that true team journalism is portrayed in that film was absolutely brilliant.

If you have soft-serve ice cream, do you like anything on top?

No topping for me.

What's worse for society; lawyers, politicians, or journalists?

Blah!

What is your favorite pastime or what would you like it to be?

I always wanted to learn how to paint. Took art classes when I was younger but never made it to actually painting on canvas. Maybe someday. I LOVE cooking and am very good at it. Love to experiment with exotic flavours.

Across hot coals? No. Wouldn't want to burn my feet. After all the energy invested in the pedicures haha.

If you could change your line of work.. what would you choose?

Posting pics of drizzling creamy caramel in my mouth from different positions.

Have you or would you walk across hot coals?

No, I'm a bit too delicate for that.

What legitimate sport would you consider participating in, if you could?

Probably something in social services or become a nurse.

"How much creamy caramel can you drizzle into your mouth at one time?" This contest would take place the day after the hot dog eating contest.

Which meat do you prefer?

How should athletes, artists and thespians raise awareness on issues close to their hearts?

By donating half their exorbitant salaries to their respective causes instead of asking people to donate what little money they have.

Should churches be taxed?

Some have....

Should churches be taxed?

It's hard to say. Not all churches are what they're cracked up to be. Some are good (very few). This is hard to answer.

What makes churches so bad are the "holier than thou" attitudes that run rampant within it and the questionable use of funds. You can't MAKE someone care nor give a damn. It has to be a choice. When wrong, be honest enough to admit it. A church is a named building. What makes it a church are it's members. If you aren't offended, your morality isn't questioned, it isn't a church that demands better of itself nor the people in it. It's up to those who control it.

What makes a church, a church?(in your own words)

I see churches along the same lines as schools and public healthcare. While I recognize that there are those who take advantage of the system, I think taxing churches could put their existence at risk.

What is the best offer you've ever declined?

I was once being head-hunted for a position at a rival firm. They made an offer and I made (what I thought) was a ridiculous counter-offer. They didn't even blink. I ultimately turned them down out of loyalty (and I don't regret it), but...it was probably they best financial and benefits offer I would every get.

If you had the ability to take a hard right turn in your life and go off in a totally different direction, where would you go, metaphorically?

I've answered this one before. I would never have started smoking. It has cost me so much health-wise.

Do you feel insurance companies have the right to charge higher premiums because someone has suffered from a setback?

No

Do you watch Stranger Things?

I have enjoyed both on several occasions. both very beautiful.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you choose?

You, so I could enjoy those sunrises and sunsets on the beach. :)

If you could be a celebrity for a week, who would you choose and why?

The richest celebrity there is. I can do so much with a $50 bill and if I had the resources, I can help so many people AND animals.

if you could start a foundation, what would it be?
