Is this ENGLISH? Or what?

So many children posting here. Regardless of chronological age.

Some just want to kill everything not exactly like themselves. Fear is a powerful thing.

Others argue over spelling and grammar.

The world is in peril. Starting a war is not the answer.

Widen your reading, Dantetier . . . Dubyah Shrub has already admitted that the real reason for the U$-Iraq War for Control of Undeveloped Middle East Oil Reserves has little to do with limiting the spread of WMD and much to do with securing U$ oil reserves against the French and Russians particularly, who have already established claims to the oil reserves that can only be overturned by holding a nice prifitable war.

((If he had in fact said that, don't you think the media would have jumped on that? I have serious doubts as to your sources of information. And the immature little $ for S thing is winning you NO points. And we have NO need to secure oil. We have VAST amounts of oil just sitting in Alaska BEGGING to be tapped. ))

If Dubyah Shrub and his cronies were interested in limiting WMD then he would NOT have cut off the supply of oil to North Korea, causing the re-opening of the NK nuclear reactor. The rest of the world just CANNOT trust the Shrub Administration to work according to the agreements their government has reached.

((The Nuclear plant they are opening was a 5 MW plant. NEGLIGIBLE Power. And if it was only for electricity, why are they reopening nuclear labs, kicking out inspectors and violating the DMZ? There are definite maldoings in Korea))

The Shah of Iran was correct when he said, "it is difficult to be a friend of the United $tate$." :)

Exactly *S* Peace through power... do you think if countries weren't as powerful as they are we would be this peaceful? you'll notice it's only the piddly shit countries that fight constantly. Everyone else is too afraid of being obliterated

We would have enevr invaded in the first place had Mullah Omar simply handed over Bin Laden to US custody.

Don't remeber who said this, but they said it just after defending US actions in Afghanistan. So the US would have left the Afghans to suffer under the Taliban, if they hadn't had somehting they wanted?

The US is not the only country going into Iraq.

Do you read every other line of your newspaper?

Even Australia is giving us support.

Heavystick: AFAIK, only Britain and Australia are following you in. The rest are giving nice noises, but won't actually do anything. Teflon Tony is following you, because it's his policy to see how far up George W's arse he can reach and John Howard is following you for his own reasons. No-one else in Australia is pleased with his decision.

Unfortunately true, but only because one side has mullered the other and can therefore impose their opinion on the other.

To us they are nice noises, to Al Qaeda and other terrorist it's still support. They may attack those who support our actions. Spain is letting the US use it's airspace. Not all support is troops on the ground or planes in the sky.

You call it imposing opinion, I call it destroying evil philosophies.

Whatever.

Hi Stick . . . the anti-war and anti-conscription lobbies are re-forming in Oz after the great U$ "victory" in Vietnam . . .

DON'T be fooled by the government press releases relating how our megalomaniac Prim Monster is strutting the world stage, his imagination is far greater than the national ability to make his response.

Aussies DO NOT WANT to be in the U$-Iraq War for Control of Middle East Undeveloped Oil Reserves!! Indeed, from the recent march in Washington when 100,000 people turned out to be ignored by the media, there appear to be many thinking Americans who do not want the war either . . . that anti-war lobby group will grow as the bodybags return . . . :)

You and pp can't wait for "body bags," can you? You read too many supermarket new tabloids.

In a nation of 285 MILLION people there are ALWAYS going to be AT LEAST thousands of protestors for ANY war. You see, MOST of these protestors would protest the very CONCEPT of war no matter who it was against, even if the enemy were some kind of baby-eating aliens.

Yes, don't be so damn naive, there are MANY nations that brutally suppress their minorities and I don't mean the namby-pamby "suppression" we here in the west can whine about but mass-rapes and slaughters like in Myanmar or Laos.

It seems to me that it's the other way around...

You and your kind who scream 'Let's kick arse!' 'Let's nuke Iraq!' 'Let's waste Saadam!' are the ones who can't wait for the body bags...

Or do you believe the invading army can do all that without any casualties on their own side?

Neither do the Brits...

We see it as purely a Blair thing. Even some of his own Cabinet are now making anti-war noises...
