Instead of being lazy and putting it off due to snow I decided to run tonight anyway...just a little slower so as not to pull, twist or break anything. There is just such an amazing blanket of silence and white that the snow causes. It was like being the last person on a deserted planet. What started out as a relucant chore became another beautiful memory...I love it when life does that!!!

Isn't it great when the new snow sparkles as if someone had dropped tiny diamonds all over?

It only happens at night and for such a short time. Did you make angels? There has to be angels!

I don't care about the encapsulating glisten from a snowflake that, if you squint enough, depicts Haewall. The running is good but it is a little boring since so much is done. A little more interesting was when I did a 16mile mountain climb/hike up in Mt Griffith CO in March. A blizzard just about trapped me. Shoulda brought my snowshoes. Shoulda wore boarding pants instead of GAP waterproof cargo. Shoulda wore gloves that weren't neoprene. Shoulda brought my cell phone. Shoulda told someone I was leaving. Shoulda watched the weather channel. Shoulda left a little earlier. Should turned around when the snow got to my knees. Shoulda turned around when the snow got to my waist. Shoulda turned around when the snow got to my chest. Shoulda turned around before I got to the peak. Shoulda been extra careful after I sprained my right ankle because 30 steps later I sprained my left ankle. Glad I went.
