🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

I’m training for a long distance run! This will be my first one in a long while. But, I’m getting tired of listening to the same 12 or so music tracks! I’m looking for some suggestions, if anybody has any music / songs they listen to whilst running?

Very nice 👍 What is your training schedule like?

I listen to all sorts of music when I work out. It just depends on my mood. I’ll post a list. Best of luck with your run :)

At the moment I’m interval training at a 2:1 run/walk. Building up each day. My hips today are so incredible sore though, so I think I’ll rest every 3rd day and just go for a long walk instead.

Idk if this is what you’re looking for @alwaysaway but here’s one of my workout playlists.
Thanks sooooo much!!! Loved a few of these ideas and adding to my lists!

Rest and walk days sooo important for sure!!! Nice work!! Still love doing interval runs on speed work days!!
Shot my first early in the day round of golf this morning in years!!! Easily the best round I have had in a loooooooong time!!!
Dewy morning golf on an empty course is the best! Can see those putt lines!! Glad it was the best round.

Have a wonderful Tuesday sweaters!! Gearing up for a 9 year old bday party at an amusement park tomorrow!!! THAT'S gonna be a workout and guaranteed I will be sore!!

I've prioritized flexibility, squats, and long hikes, and love seeing how my thighs and the dimples just below my cheeks have become more defined. My food largely consists of veggies, fruits, and plant protein, so that's pretty nice. The fruit really satiates any old cravings I've had for sugar in the past, and my skin is utterly growing!

My run was better this morning. I’m still feeling stiff. But I managed to run my full distance however it’s getting progressively more boring for me. The longer the run the longer I have to get bored :p

The intermittent walk/run in the way back was meh. But I’m glad I got out and wanted to post here that I’d run my distance.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Had been running a different route while out of town last week. Back to my usual route yesterday. It was shorter but felt like shit since it was so boring. Running a path I've run probably more than 100 times.

Think I should get the bike out today

OK, after a short break, I'm back into it with some lunchtime cycling.
I want to increase my strength (overall) a bit, though, so I need to decide if I change up my bodyweight routine or order some weights. It's probably navy seals time, though. I need a target for those, beyond my current ability but not too far away. 50?

It's been busy for a bit, looks like i haven't posted.

Super busy weekend - Grandkids!! Love em, but wow...

Good work out Monday.

Tuesday was PT and workout. My therapist is leaving, she's been good. I think the one I'm changing too will be just as good.

Making slow progress on my hips. Trying a couple of new things....

Finally, almost a month post COVID, I'm getting back into a rhythm of doing stuff again. Just did a crisp 30 on the bike, now back to work and to figure out when to squeeze some weight and resistance work in. Need to trim up a little bit of this dad bid before summer pool fun.
I feel ya. I’m just about a month out myself and am still not 100%, but feeling improvement every day now. It’s definitely a process getting back to normal after having it bad. Hang in there. 🤙🏼👊🏻
