Good morning Sweaters 🔥

Phewww it sure is hot outside. And muggy. How’s the weather near you? Does the weather affect your workout? How much? How do you switch up your fitness routine when the weather isn’t cooperating?
It affects walking my dog, when it’s too hot. I usually go to the gym so the weather doesn’t affect that.
 
is anyone using a step counter device? I saw a documentary and now I am really trying to get at least 12.5k a day in. But my fit bit sucked donkey balls lately, loses connectivity every day multiple times. I know i watch is an easy option, but I am not sure if it has such a great competition community. Any suggestion
My personal opinion would be the Garmin Vivosmart 4. A couple of friends have this which they really like & comes with tons of options.
I had a Fitbit which I gave to a friend & now occasionally use my Apple watch just to gauge different routes when I walk/run so I know the distance.
 
Nice and cloudy this morning. I’ll be hitting a run on my lunch break. Yesterday I lifted. Working on getting my strength back after focusing on running for the last few months. Alternating lifting and running.
I hope you all are doing well and getting in some activity today.
 
I need to cultivate a new exercise routine but the current humidity situation isn't helping that (excuses, excuses). But also not helping is that right now in the middle of the night sitting in front of the fan NOT SWEATING feels so refreshing. And with pool temps being basically hot tub temps, that's not refreshing either. BUT I'm here to hopefully get some inspiration to sweat for health.

Thank you, @Brianna_38 for your sweet message and for your uplifting posts. I have been super busy but now, finally, I have a break from work. I need to figure out how to not let work dominate my headspace and energy during the schoolyear. If anyone has a few pointers on how to do that, please share them.

Today is a good day. I've managed a work out and I feel it in every muscle. I made my favourite breakfast and now I'm chilling in the garden before I get to work ☺️
 
You have SUCH a beautiful voice, and now I have a massive case of the Warm & Fuzzies from listening to this! I'm glad to hear that you're getting closer to your goals, and I love how supportive this little community is for each other! Yoga, diet, exercise, work/life balance, positive attitudes all play important parts in being happy and healthy. Keep up the great work and keep smiling!
