Today, some movies:
First viewing of the Swedish film Watch the Skies - all UFO stuff. It gets off slow, builds disparate questions, but about halfway through, it all gels and makes for a thoroughly enjoyable ending, with a decent amount of action thrown in. Loved it, but maybe not for everybody.
Next was a brutal Gem: Bull. A vicious, gory British crime/revenge tale. I never saw anybody in this flick in any other movie, but star Neil Maskell plays his part as a calm, but homicidal revenge-seeker is excellent. Fabuolous!
Next, a second viewing of Fled with Stephen Baldwin - back when he had a shot at being a big star) and Laurence Fishburne. It's a fine leftover 80s action flick released in the 90s. Love 80s and 80s action flicks, so no problem here. A worthy watch.
