I like silver/white gold/platinum tones better than yellow gold, but yellow gold looks slightly better with my warm skin tone. Sporty Spice and the guy who played Judas both had crunchy white people dreadlocks. The Pharisees were Wall Street types and Romans were corporate types. It was edited in with news reports and social media posts on the big screen that just felt out of place.

We also watched the 1973 version last week, it was filmed like a regular musical movie, not a live stage performance. It was very…hippies in the desert.
It’s been years since I’ve seen the (2018?) live stage version with John Legend, but I remember that one being infinitely better. The guy who played Aaron Burr in Hamilton (3 names, 1 of them Dixon, forgot the other 2) was great as Judas, Sarah Barrielles(sp?) was good as Mary Magdalene and well…you can’t beat Alice Cooper as King Herod!
