It seems the women tend to get "committed" quickly.

That all said, I think what this really highlights is that even at a place like Lit, it can be hard (snicker, I'm 12, yes) to make a connection. People are, generally, somewhat picky. Although as noted above, many "new comers" (snicker) are often less picky, until they've gotten over the first few times. (and I fear that some people pray on that...).

I also think there is often a difficult in finding "the right fit." In my (very limited) experience, I've only once or twice found someone kind of "at the right place" for where I was. (didn't stop me from other things, but...you know....). And even then, it was relatively short lived.

I've done the 'commitment' thing, I've done the fast and loose thing. I'm probably considered easy by most because of the way I post.

But whether I find someone for a one-time thing, or it's naturally evolved from lots of time spent chatting, the bottom line for me is that it's my choice and so as long as I'm always upfront about who I am and what I want, then I don't care if I'm judged by others to be on the sliding scale of boutiqueness.
