Sorry I missed it. Unfortunately I have a very high alcohol tolerance level (or should I say fortunately) and it takes me at least 1//2 a bottle of wine to get into gear.

My wife and sister-in-law both suffer from tinnitus. They and any number of family members also suffer from a variety of other middle ear conditions, like motion sickness, vertigo etc. And yes, they all suck. (The diseases, not my relatives.)

I have some sympathy for them, actually. Put down that shotgun... I think there is often confusion between the group and the individual. If you're male, I guess you have to be part of the patriarchy by definition, and it's necessary for men to understand that and to listen. But there are also lots of men who, as individuals, are already doing their best with that, and my personal view is that this deserves support and encouragement. However, as Sherlock Holmes observed, these are deep waters and it's probably best for me to go back to kittens and degrees of mattress hardness...

Is not only that they "have to be part of it by definition" but by the fact that all men (specifically cis het men) benefit from it. I do agree that there are men who are doing their best and are supportive and while I do think we should be supportive I also want to highlight the fact that it is exhausting as women to "have" to encourage men for being decent and doing the bare minimum bc you all should be that way (but i know the world doesn't work that way and I always hype men up for being feminist but sometimes it eats at my soul) But cool talk...I won't go back to talking about kittens bc I couldn't care less but i appreciate the perspective.

The worst thing is the unnice guys who claim to be nice - and even believe it themselves! They often think they are entitled to something just because they are "so nice".

If you have a costco membership, they're sellinf a good one online that my dermatologist recommended.
