Interesting… I didn’t know this was a thing for people, thanks for opening my perspective.I get it. Mine’s Huck Finn. Go Down, Moses, Moby Dick, Gatsby, Blood Meridian, Monkeywrench Gang are tied. I’d be way more well-read if I didn’t read the same books over and over

Desolation Angels by Kerouac is the only book I've finished and then immediately commenced re-reading. I LOVE to re-read books, though, including A Prayer for Owen Meany, Cannery Row, even Stephen King books.Interesting… I didn’t know this was a thing for people, thanks for opening my perspective.
I’ve only re-read two books in my life: Forever (NYC immortality story) and A Salty Piece of Land (Mindless, juvenile fun for parrot heads)

Edited to add: Favorite fiction, if I absolutely have to choose, is LOTR because of how foundational it is. It laid the groundwork for RPG like D&D and transformed the future of fantasy.
Along those lines, Don QuixoteFavorite fictional book is John Kennedy Toole "A Confederacy of Dunces".
